I bet you'll all go and say Jesper's goal today was a cross as well.

Face it. He's amazing. And he meant both goals.....

He would be because he mainly plays on the right hand side of the midfield.

It's Joe Cole that is currently benefitting from Duff's injuries.

It is just my opinion, mate, I don't think he is a Champion's League quality player. And I think it is debateable that he'd be playing in the Champion's League if Duff was fit now would he?

Nope I'm not going on recent performances. I've seen him most home games over the last two years, and he's been reasonably good. The last two games he's been quite poor really, other than scoring TWO AMAZING goals, his performance has been bad.

But at times he's our most dangerous man on the pitch, and for all the times he is criticised for poor crossing etc. he never ever gets any recognition for a good cross which leads to a goal. For example as recent as saturday, his cross to Gudjohnsen was inch perfect, and only a great save from Howard prevented a goal.

He's slagged off for no real apparent reason, with people claiming he's inconsistent. Inconsistent means he must be very good at times. But no-one ever praises him for those times. You all just criticise......

I'm sorry, I think he is a complete luxury.

He's not good enough for Chelsea, and i'm pretty sure he'll either stay and sit on the bench all season or go to another Primier League side, who probably won't be in the Champion's League.

I don't mean that isn't his position, I mean that whenever I see him play wide he never links up well with the players behind him. You are going on his recent performances, which haven't been bad. Earlier in the season he was awful.

What? Countless times have we seen him randomly block shots on the line. And only last week did I see him lose the ball, the sprint 60 yards back to tackle the defender in the area.

Why?
He'll stay.

Out of place? That's where he plays....

I agree, (if that was aimed at me) I never disagreed.

I personally don't rate him either Badgerman, he loses the ball too much and doesn't make an awful lot of effort to get back and defend when he does either. Sometimes his crosses are great, sometimes they are terrible. He is a very inconsistent player who will not be playing Champion's League football next season, even though his recent performance against Monaco was a good one.

Edit: I do concede his two latest goals were great ones though. But two goals don't make up for a season out of place on the wing.

What? That was not a fluke. It was superb goal.
