Round 6 will see the completion of 1 third of the season and with all the drivers within 20 points, the title is anyones. The Constructors Championship is also wide open, with all the teams off the mark already. Only 3 drivers have yet to score points this season, Da Matta, De La Rosa and most surprisingly, last year's World Champion Firman.

http://www.freewebs.com/gpsr/srf1.htm for the current driver line up. Remember, not all the drivers racing last year are racing this year!

Let's see what happened at the 2003 Austrian Grand Prix, which might give you a few ideas for your predictions. Qualifying was wet but it didn't dampen the Jordan charge from last year. Fisichella and Firman took a Jordan 1-2 with Renaults in 3rd and 4th. Of the main challengers this year, Pizzonia only got 18th, Ralf Schumacher 19th, Button 13th and Panis 7th.

The race was dry and the pace was super quick with Ralf Schumacher getting the lap record last year. It was Villeneuve from 12th on the grid that came through to win, the 2nd of 3 wins in a row. The Jordan's were comfortable in 2nd and 3rd with Firman just ahead of Fisichella.

The main challengers for this year: Pizzonia retired, Ralf Schumacher was 17th and lapped, Button got 2 points for 7th and Panis got 4 points for 5th.

Well, there is some information. Here is a bit more:

Lap Records:
Qualifying: 1m09.472s - Bernoldi (Arrows (Now MG F1) 2002)
Race: 1m10.438s - R Schumacher (Williams - 2003)

2002 - Frentzen (Arrows (Now MG F1))
2003 - Villeneuve (B.A.R)

2nd Jordan 41pts

Onto the prediction questions. The prediction questions are open to current participants in the Championship and anyone that is willing to put in the effort to enter the Championship when a seat becomes available.

Der Nazi is still in the lead but the gap is closing. Remember to not add drivers that aren't racing this year in your predictions and come up with 8 different drivers for the top 8 qualifiers and race. If you aren't sure who is racing this year, check the SR F1 website. The link is at the top of the post.
