I've been diagnosed with Dissociative Identify Disorder - aka Multiple Personalities.

What does this mean to you? Not a lot.

Except I can kill you and get away with it.

I don't, I've only got the one. They're both crazy though.

Everyone has multiple personalities.

Crazy stuff. For all you know (if it was more severe) in one of your other lives you could be in line to have an operation to transform your own sex. Now thats a movie idea! :-D

It's a bit more than that, sometimes after switching (I never really notice I've switched till a little later) I forget what I've been doing as the other personality.

It's basically my defence system that I created to cope with trauma, unfortunatly it's left my mind extremely shattered and confused.

I have four main personalities, all extremely complex, and what's worse - they all have different pasts and memories. I'm glad I'm aware of them, it could be a lot worse.

It's not quite as romantic as the media makes it out to be, but it's a hell of a lot more complex. I'll try and write more about it with trying to intergrate my personalities.. apparently with the process of putting me all back together again I'm going to become a lot worse... so erk.

But yeah. The original topic is a joke by the way, in case anyone's worried. :D

T'is very interesting. Do you feel differently at different times?

I post in pretty much all my personalities. I've known about this for a while, but having the pyschiatrists tell me the same was a bit... overwhelming.
