CUBE magazine say this:
Sony seems to be continuing its effort to balls up the launch of the PSP as much as possible with news from the company that it won't launch the PSP in the UK until the second half of the year with many shops not expecting it to appear until September. Sony's excuse for the delay is that they can't make the overly complex consoles fast enough and so wants to make sure they have got enough to support the American launch at the end of March. The delay to its Euro launch will almost certainly mean Sony won't be able to make its end of financial year targets for the console, although it should mean at least that the UK won't have to put up with all the dodgy screens, broken buttons and UMD flinging disc drives that have plagued the fist batch of Japanese consoles.
