Second Half Analysis:

45 MINS - The players come out for what will surely be a brilliant second half.

49 MINS - Two great chances in a row from Newcastle United for Keiran Dyer and Alan Shearer.

59 MINS - A brilliant shot from Demis (Athletico De Madrid) goes over from about 15 yards.

65 MINS - Goal! Athletico De Madrid 2-1 Newcastle United. Fernando Torres chips the ball over the last defended and Ibagaza runs in and slots it past the keeper.

72 MINS - Amazingly, this is the first corner of the game. Laurent Robert swings it in for Newcastle and Alan Shearer heads it into Burgos's hands.

75 MINS - Fernando Torres of Athletico De Madrid is caught offside.

81 MINS - Kizito Musampa gets the first yellow card of the game after his horrible two footed challedge on Keiran Dyer.

90 MINS - Full Time. Athletico De Madrid 2-1 Newcastle United.

Man of the Match - Fernando Torres (Athletico De Madrid)

First Half Analysis:

0 MINS - The camera zooms in on the beautiful Cauldron, Athletico De Madrid's stadium. The players run out and there is a real sense of excitement in the crowds. This game is going to be big. The players kick off.

2 MINS - The games starts with lots and lots of possesion from Athletico De Madrid. Newcastle United haven't had a touch yet.

9 MINS - Chance for Newcastle. Craig Bellamy passed it to Shearer who shot from 15 yards and it flew straight into Germain Burgos's hands. Good save.

12 MINS - Goal!!!!!!!! Athletico De Madrid 1-0 Newcastle United. A great through ball from Ibagaza is finished by Fernando Torres.

15 MINS - Chance for Atheltico De Madrid. Torres missed a fairly easy shot from 10 yards. It goes just wide.

24 MINS - More possesion for Athletico De Madrid. They are dominating this game. The possesion is: Athletico Madrid 80% - 20% Newcastle.

28 MINS - Goal!!!!!!!! Athletico De Madrid 1-1 Newcastle United. Against all odds, Newcastle score. A very intelligent through ball from Gary Speed is fired 50 yards across the pitch, releasing Craig Bellamy who slides the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 1-1.

43 MINS - Lots of possesion from Newcastle United now. The game is very exciting.

45 MINS - Chance for Athletico De Madrid. Ibagaza wastes a chance to put Athletico ahead at half time. He drills a shot off the post from 5 yards.

45 MINS - Half Time. Atheltico De Madrid 1-1 Newcastle United.
