From Iwata's keynote speech at that games conference thingy that's been going on. He talks about Revolution.

He say:- Console powered by a CPU from IBM, codenamed 'Broadway' + the GPU is from ATI, codenamed 'Hollywood.' Rubbish names, but still - woo!

He say:- Revolution will have built in Wi-Fi. omg!1 Yes, not just normal internet shiz, proper spiffy wi-fi and everything.

He say:- Dev kits sent out to er ... devers ... by E3. As in before. Yey also, pwn that 3rd party suport mmmkay Ninty?

And so, it starts.

Well, no-one bothered to mention it. And it's pretty interesting, so I did. So there.

I thought back-cap was a given anyway.

The letters really are rubbish this month. I read that complete tosh pile about Revolution and just wanted to punch the idiot in the face. What a clueless moron, he may as well send a noose to Ninty - "here's a good idea!"

See no-one's done the 'new NGC' topic, either. Lazy sods, the lot of you.

Killer 7's been pushed back to June, I see ... although I'm not sure I like what I'm hearing about it (how it plays) - but the plot gets better and better.

And I quote: "The phrase 'tasty, tasty blood' keeps popping up." ; "You don't actually play as Garcian ... but he does retrive killed personalities' body parts and puts them in his briefcase."

Bah, Pokemon. That was way too addictive - back in the day. I would be too scared to play it now.

The only actual interesting information from the interview was that Retro were fully on board for Revolution (Metroid Prime 3 please) and that the new Pokémon GC game was 100% RPG and none of that Stadium/Collosseum gubbins.

Could you post the letter on here, due to my lack of money I can't go out and buy the magazine.

Deary me FFF this is 5 day old news! And you missed out that the Revolution would be backwards compatible.

I'm writing a letter to NGC right now about it. In their latest issue some numnut suggested that a) Mario 64 would have been possible on the SNES and it was just the controller that made 3D gaming possible and b)the Revolution will just be a peripheral for the GC.

So I'm going to set another stupidass NGC reader straight today (the first one was someone who complained that there was no clue to how to get the Sky Temple keys in MP Echoes, and this was bad level design and the game was rubbish, even though there was a whole room dedicated to telling you where they all are) Sometimes I despair.

Yeh, school work has taken over at the moment so I am lucky to squeeze in the odd couple of Halo 2 games, and the even more scarce game of Rainbow Six a week.

Have both a GC and an XBOX. Have good times with both.

Don't play Live much anymore though, to be honest. STill worth the Ł30 or so a year, if just for the odd game or two.

Yes, my X-Box pwns. But I only bought it for LIVE - my little bro bought the GameCube, I don't play it enough though.
