The very first question for example asks "What is the computer item pictured"
*pictured is blatantly a keyboard*
A. Monitor
B. Keyboard
C. Mouse
D. Scanner
I mean, GUH!?
There was possibly one question in the entire test that challenged me remotely. It was one of the later ones, and asked something like, "What is to the right of V on the keyboard". And even that whilst I first thought it was "G", I changed my mind to "B" and got it correct. So, yes, anyway, it was much too easy. Rant over.
> Just had my IT Mock GCSE Exam earlier, and I could not believe how

During my degree, I missed a unit by no fault of my own (supposedly exempt)
I was not going to get the qualification and have to do another year sitting that one and that one only. The name of the unit missing?
"Introduction to PC skills"
My argument. "I'm a network administrator / webmaster / analyst / programmer and have been for 6 years. I'm currently doing a dissertation on low level memory manipulation regarding lighting effects for game, and you're wanting to make me resit a unit describing how mice, keyboards and monitors work? As well as basic "MS office" skills?"
I got the qualification that year..............
The moral. You may know what you are doing, some other people (hard as it may seem) may have had some *serious* problms doing that exam. :)
