Revelling in blackness, I stop and stick and turn
Swamped knee-deep in misery, for happiness I yearn
Talent voided blankly by a lacklustre lifestyle
Will worthlessly wasted, normality so vile
With force I forge feeling and lose the will to earn
Petrol pouring paradise, the time has come to burn
Possessions perfectly propped into a careful pile
Light a match, see it burn, at last - a heartfelt smile

------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ----- ----- -----

It's a little hippyish "like woah maaan, we dont need materiaal stuff, duuude - but I think we are quite a consumer-driven society - whether thats a bad thing or not I'm yet to decide. Anyway, views on the matter, if you fancy.

I think Edgy is talking about putting commas and full stops at the end of each line. Or some sort of punctuation marks to break up the text. Am I right Edge?

I liked it - some of the groupings of the words slowed the poem down a bit - but overall that was very good. :D

Just a note - poetry still has punctuation - it makes it a lot easier to read.
