Hello darlin!

Seem to recall you're a bit of a Disney nut, and you were talking a while ago about a video that was worth a bit.

My mum's got a collection of Disney videos that she wants to get rid of, probably on eBay. Can you point me in the direction of any websites etc. that give approximate values, or any other useful info?

I've Googgled for the info, but not found much of any use - only places that sell them, nothing that gives collectible values.

Cheers bird, I'll check back later.

Anyhoo, videos don't tend to go for much nowadays, it's out of print DVDs that seem to be hot stuff (As well as Disney Treasure sets)

Check out Ultimate Disney, it's a site dedicated to Disney video and DVD releases, try the fourms.

Yes, I am well aware of how to use eBay's search, thankyouverymuch.

The problems with that are...

(a) Almost anyone can obtain Disney videos at wholesale prices and flog them on eBay, which is pretty much what you get with the search.

(b) eBay isn't exactly a reliable place from which to extract the value of something.

What I'm after is 'expert' or 'collector' info regarding "first release" videos, which are worth more, according to what I've been told.

Generally, what something is worth and what it sells for on eBay are two very different things, with one often being significantly higher than the other - though which is higher often depends on the individual item.

So... there is a need to ask Mystique, simply because she may know what she's talking about! And if she doesn't, she might be able to point me to a website where somebody does.

ebay Advanced Search > Check "Completed Items"

Type in names (individually) of Disney titles

Compare past final prices

No need to ask Mystique.
