When I get my PS2, I will be able to buy 1 game (and a memory card). I have Dynasty Warriors 2. Any ideas for a top game for me to get ? I've been thinking of Z.O.E.

My gf is coming over from the states you see, so i have to have money for when shes here, hence the very limited game spend out with the console setting me back £300 ;-)

Sorry, I know the HD/broadband add-on has been announced, but the price hasn't.

I reckon around £100 - no more than £120.

Console add-ons like this don't usually sell well, and Sony want to push their online facilities when in place. For customers to justify buying one, and for Sony to sell enough units, the price will have to be low.

Large capacity HD's are cheap now, even moreso for suppliers, and so are Ethernet cards (which will probably form the basis of the broadband section), so I think £100 is a workable price. There was also a rumour of a £99 unit in a few PS2 mags some months ago.

It's been done before 3 times. Sega - MS2 MD2 and sony PS and the PSX (also ps1)

PS2.1 is a normal PS2 but they have change some of the insides, so only games made for it will work on it. Just another money grabing idea. You could say it's a £300 expansion pak!

Remeber it is £200 for the hard drive/ modem so you can go on the internet! So, you can spend £830 on playstation and not have a singal game!

Buy PS2, goes out of date, get a PS2.1 and a modem and a memory card (only 8mb!) and there you are.

Well it will blow up in a year, and the PS2.1 will come out in the next 2. So hold your money. (but these might not be true, but i wouldn't take the risk). There will be PS2 and PS2.1 games. And i think the PS2.1 will have the better ones, yes it also cost £300

My choice of games woul dbe:
SSX
Timesplitters
Moto GP
Shadow Of Memories
ZOE
UT (when its out)

Or just spen the money on your bird (like someone said) and then she will be happy, then hint to her that you love PS2 games, then start saying "if only i had some money" *sigh* and she will feel guilty because you spent your money on her, then she will buy you a game.
Everboys happy!
