I bought D-12's newest album "D-12 World" today and listened to all the tracks (except for the bonus disc which come with it) and I have to say, it's pretty good. Much like their previous album "Devil's Night", the tracks are mainly very dark, with "My band" being the only light-hearted one, the skit's are pretty are OK, not on the same level of hilarity as "The Slim Shady L.P.", but they do make nice fillers. It was also nice to see two sequels for two of the best songs on "Devil's Night", them being "40 OZ" (Which did sound very similar to "Fight Music") and "American Psycho II" (An obvious sequel to the first).

Overall, not as good as "Devil's Night" it lacks the real shock value of the first album, but it still has some pretty good tracks, if your a fan of Slim Shady or D-12, it's a definate buy, everyone probably won't care.

You find Eminem and D-12 shocking? Christ almighty, when did music get so incredibly lame!? You want some hardcore rap, try listening to NWA. then see how "dark" Eminem and the D-12 really are. Pathetic.

I prefer Marshall Mathers LP.....I think Eminem Show is more angry against the Government rather than Artists like in Marshall Mathers LP. Both albums are fantastic, I just prefer Marshall Mathers LP.

am I missing something?

Eminem Show is his most p!ssed off album. 80% of the album is him getting angry with the state of society, his family , fame and the ignorant fools who consider him to be some kind of devil. Marshall Mathers LP had some angry tunes on it, but for the most part it was just a straight rap album.

Both excellent albums though, as was his first and also the stuff he did before he was signed by Dre.

Nah.....

Slim Shady LP is comical...yes.

Marshall Mathers LP is dark and in my view his best album.

Eminem Show is too tuney and not enough rapping as the main focus. He worst album I think. He knows most people like his songs with good tunes but I disagree, I prefer his serious songs where he is p!ssed off.

I wouldn't really expect anything special from D-12 - they're only in the business because of Eminem. They're not exactly groundbreaking artists.

In my opinion, it's more of the same, it has one comical song (My Band), and the rest are are all dark, moody and involving what Bizarre's been "doing" for the past 3 years, with the only exception being "Good Die Young" which is more of a tribute by some of the members.

I was expecting a something different, like how Eminem did "The Slim Shady L.P" which a quite comical album, to the very dark "Marshall Mathers L.P", and then to the pollitical "Eminem Show".

Yeah, it's not the type of tune you'll be listening to in a months time.
