I was just flicking through the pages of todays Daily Mirror when I saw a picture which nearly made me puke and will haunt me for the rest of the day.

Was it more baby seals being bludgeoned to death, or bloodied victims of some terrible terrorist atrocity?

Nope, it was giant Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus on the beach wearing a swimming costume!! The humanity. What did I do to deserve seeing that image at such an early point in the day, without any kind of prior warning.

Why oh why do editors think we want to see such filth.
