Over the last couple of weeks there have been findings in Jerusalem to prove that Jesus actually existed.
Firstly, they found that mountain with a face kind of engraved in it which was mentioned many times in the Bible. I saw a photo of this, and it does look like there's some sort of face on it.
Then, they found a tomb which appeared to be around 2000 years old. It looks exactly like the one described in the Bible.
Then, they found a huge tombstone, which measured 13 feet (dunno if it was in circumference or diameter or whatever), but in the Bible it also says that the stone measured 13 feet in diameter/volume/circumference.
Then, they found some sockets deep down in the ground, which look like they were made by 3 crosses being stuck in the ground.
And finally, they found what they thought was some sort of blood on the ground.
They tested it, and what they found shocked them.
The blood only had the woman's chromasones, and one X to make it a male.
I thought this was very interesting, as and I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
That's the English language for you, completely bonkers, especially when it comes to re-naming objects from other countries. Mind you, English is made up of so many different languages anyway...
Religion? Dangerous subject to bring up as everyone has their own idea and people try hard not to tread on each other's toes. Me? I'm Catholic, but open minded too. It would be a fool who believed that there was no truth in any other religion, they are all based on similar ideals, even if a lot of them are common sense. The worst thing is those Christians who believe that only proper Christian people (i.e. those who have a. heard of the christian God and b. go to church a lot) will go to heaven, despite someone being incredibly good all their life and perhaps never ever hearing that this Jesus person ever existed at all. I think God itself (notice the non-gender specific) would never turn away someone because they just hadn't gone to church enough or never heard of Jesus.
Rant over, you can take your hands away from your ears now (wouldn't do any good anyway, this is written!)
Why is an orange the only fruit to be named as the colour it is?
Banana is not called yellow (and before you say it is also green - oranges go green as well id you leave them out for a few months - :D
