Sony win hands down. Better consoles, more up to date marketing attracting more gamers, not just kiddies, and definitely a larger variety of gameplay, with better graphics, FMV easily accessible and adding to the enjoyment of games, cheaper products, better peripherals, and a larger userbase.

What do you think?

Metal Gear Solid 2 will be just like Mario 64, 'strange!' you say but it will, on an already dying console MGS2 will be remembered as the 'star that didn't quite make it' or 'the pretty good ground breaking game on not such a good platform' The PS2 will sell more but Not in the same way the PSX did, I think the PS2 will be a mixture of the Dreamcast and the N64...The DC in the way that it is, despite the odd glitches, quite a powerful console...even if hard to program for. and the N64 in the way that it might actually be the best all-round console but because of the Dev problems it didn't quite take the lime-light that the GAMECUBE WILL!

u can not be serious,hideo doesnt even come closs,look at the title they done,Mario,Shenmue,Sonic,Daytona,even metal gear cant break those francises.But i will give him credit for producing some quality games.

believe me when i say that i know what i am talking about,i work in a gameshop,ive owned every console known to man bar the ps2(waiting for mgs2+ff10)and love games,so i know more than yu\ou give me creadit

I would say Kojima easily matches up to them, with games like MGS, ZOE and Shadow Of Memories.

Plots and storylines are Kojima's speciality, and I think that's what he does best.

look Willmmaaaaaa or whatever your name is (change it) Ant, is someone who knows what he is talking about, believe me, I don't like SONY that much, but Ant is only going on what he feels about games, you can't make comments like that on someone because its there opinion, you have yours, and he has his.
