With the 12th one coming out in ages, I thought we can keep up the FF spirit by talking about it. Do you like it? Or does it really annoy you? I can see both sides of the argument - bad acting, silly plots. great gameplay, fantastic graphics.

Do you really love it and look forward to each one, or do you hope it would just rot in hell? I love it and I think that Homosh would agree with me. But what about the rest of you guys?

Good or Bad?

Hmmm may look into it, only trouble is Phantom Kingdom has come out today in Japan and should have it sometime next week so that will be consuming my soul me thinks. Will look into FFXI though, is it a monster to run?

No I've got the European version but everyone's interface is the same, and all the billing is centralised so we all pay to the same place. Best to get the European version methinks, you might have to wait a couple of months for major expansions (US expansion packs aren't compatible with European clients for some strange reason) but you'll be so busy you won't notice. If you get the US version then all future expansion packs you'll need to import.

The latest European release of the game includes all current expansions (Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia), and after 7 months of play I don't think I've touched the Zilart or Promathia bits.

I was pretty amazed when I first started, thought it would all be high levels and nobody about my level to group with, but every time I log in there are new players in town (and not all old players just starting up new characters or levelling one of their 15 jobs).

The latest one, World of Warcraft, is between £7.50-£8.00, depending on what payment plan you opt for.

No, although if you want to you can, it only takes 10 kills maxiumum to get to level 2.

I'd like to but i don't think i've got a good enough PC plus the fact i spend enough of my time on my console RPG's as it is.

Be this like other MMORPG's though where for the first 10 odd hours you're killing snakes with sticks for about 3 exp at a time? And how much a month subscription?
