When my network is dodgy i just ping, i only use tracert when having trouble connecting to external sites.

Same as, but for game servers. When I had trouble with my BT line tracert was a great way of proving the problem was BT's and not Jolt's.

Yeah, i used it to see why i couldnt connect to battle.net. In the end it was my funky serial. :D
