Here is your regular chance to put your predictions in for the Spanish Grand Prix. You have until the qualifying gets posted on the 1st May (Saturday).

http://www.freewebs.com/gpsr/srf1.htm for the current driver line up.

Spain is the next stop for the F1 circus and is Round 5 of the 18 round Championship. As usual, the preview might give you a few ideas of what you might put in your predictions.

Spain has been, for the past 2 years, a B.A.R. track. Last year, the weekend was nice and dry and we saw lap records as Alonso took pole position in the Renault with Villeneuve in the B.A.R in second. The race saw Villeneuve take the win with Renault's 2nd and 3rd.

For the current Championship contenders that raced last season, Ralf Schumacher qualified 10th and finished 17th in the race, Pizzonia qualified 20th and finished 14th and Raikkonen qualified 9th and finished 12th.

Here is some more information:

Lap Records:
Qualifying: 1m18.233s - Alonso (2003 - Renault)
Race: 1m19.056s - Fisichella (2003 - Jordan)

Previous winners:
2002 - Villeneuve (B.A.R.)
2003 - Villeneuve (B.A.R.)

Top 3 Qualifying last year:
1st Alonso (Renault)
2nd Villeneuve (B.A.R.)
3rd Fisichella (Jordan)

Top 3 Race last year:
1st Villeneuve (B.A.R.)
2nd Alonso (Renault) +2.695s
3rd Trulli (Renault) +9.433s

Top 3 drivers after Round 5 last year:
1st Trulli 27pts
2nd Firman 17pts
3rd Raikkonen 16pts

Top 3 constructors after Round 5 last year:
1st Renault 40pts
2nd McLaren 28pts
3rd Jordan 27pts

Onto the prediction question. Der Nazi has stretched his lead but a few more players are threatening his dominance. Remember to come up with 8 different drivers for the qualifying and race and remember to include only current drivers in the Championship.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
