Games are getting better and better and more original all the time but still developers are producing a load of rubbish, why?
I'm aware that bad games are being release because they are going wrong so they release it quickly in order to make sure they don't lose anymore money but developers shouldn't get into the situation that there games are bad. If they are making bad games they shouldn't be in the industry. We only expect the best but what i am worried about is the casual gamer who doesn't read reaviews etc...
These gamers might like the look of Superman but we know full well it is (what I want to say I can't cause it is too rude)rubbish. But they go and buy it and the developer ha just successfully ripped someone off.
I can't believe this far down the track games are still getting 8% it is ridiculous. It is time for change because we only want the best so it is what we should get.

The Gamecube has over 20 games that have been announced that I know will be excellent. But i've seen robocop and that looks sweet and the others I don't know (there is over 100 announced!).
Carmaggedon i do hopes gets a sequal. It is a great game in theory it just wasn't exacuted well (actually awfully) if they can release another Carmaggedon but execute it much more successfully then it would be a good game.

The xbox and gamecube have some very hefty launch games coming with it and the price is right!.... but will the games be? Well stuff like wave race is all well and good but i can see other racers like that, that certainly lack being addictive and fun to play. Now i'm just hoping there will be no carmogeddon sequel for the gamecube, as the first was just utter trash in my opion. But i am willing for both consoles to be delayed if they make some decent games which would mean no more G!*$%?@ games again but hopefully with sega under both sides wing they will help both consoles stay on the right track.

the psx had so many awful, low standard games which were poor to look at and even worse to play. Take rise of the robots for the psx this version was no better than the mega drives copy too. Alot of companies spend about 2 months making some games which never get bougght because they are totally shabby. The n64 had half the amount of games than the playstation because most of its games were quality and always got above 90% in the review scores.

If you look at the games that have been given alot of hype then on the back it will have 'play as banjo to stopo the evil grunty'etc but its not saying how amazing the game is caus they know it is a quality game and dont need an flashy piece of writing to sell it.
Now the dreamcast has fallen into the trap as well selling quite a few average games whcih arent exactly big sellers just because they want alot of games for the console so a wider range of buyers will be tempted to buy it. Games like hydro thunder are pretty fun to play but the originality of the game itself isnt brilliant.
so companies need a wider range of games to attract mor attention, but they should concentrate on making more quality games and stop with the pants ones that are slashed half price 2 weeks after release because no one is buying it.
