Sorry to start yet another post, but this is quite important.

My PC is running WAY too hot.

Motherboard isn't too bad - about 39C
Processor is a bit high - 45-50C depending on load
Graphics card - nearly 70C!!

My case has 7x 80mm case fans all working at full revs. Any ideas how I can cool the whole thing down? Preferably not too expensive - i.e. not that subzero system thingy!! Lol ;)

What you need is some YS-TECH fans and a baybus to reign them in as necessary.

Yup, that's pretty much the CPU temp under full load.

I think I've worked out what the problem is. Although my case has a lot of fans, they're not very powerful - i.e. hold a piece of paper in front of one and the paper hardly moves. I think I'm gonna upgrade some of them to Coolermaster fans or something - ones with a higher CFM.

As for your CPU, it's perfectly fine at that temperature. If you're paranoid about it though, your only worthy solution is a Thermalright heatsink. Whatever your budget is you honestly, truly can't do better than thermalright heatsinks.

I have a VGA Silencer, I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Second best is the Zalman ZM-80C.

Gfx Cards do run hot. Very hot in fact, a lot hotter than CPUs.

I would recommend the GiantIII from ThermalTake! I use it, so it must be good. Little difficult to install though.

I thought revision three models were compatible, no?

Ah, ive found that it isnt. You could always buy one then mod it to fit.

Unfortunately the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencers aren't compatible with the 9800XT models :( Any other similar coolers?
