Something inane but painful. I was walking through flat the other night, barefooted and as I traversed two steps in one go and placed my foot upon the floor, something pierced my skin. I hobble into the bathroom in agony and find a drawing pin embedded into the sole of my foot. The head was almost buried and it was most unpleasant removing it; prising it from the part of body where the most nerve ending are located.

So there you go.

I remember when i was little, we was decorating our bathroom so the carpet was up. On the edge there was spikes that held the carpet down. I went running downstairs barefooted..you know the rest..i wore slippers until the carpet was laid..

I got a fishing hook in my foot whilst running up stairs when I was a kid - it wasn't fun pulling it out again ...

When we were flooring the loft i inadvertantly stumbled and put my hand down to regain my balance, only to put my hand on a nail. Right in the centre of the palm.

Until it healed i walked about acting like jesus. Although it can still be a bit sore if i fully extend all the fingers in my hand.

Scars are bad, it means you can be indentified easily.

Yeah I have one on the centre of my foot where the dart entered...I love scars.

I'm used to them in the sole of my shoe, but not my foot...

I did it today actually

Ive managed that with drawing pins a couple of times, painful taking them out!

Bloody nail right in my foot.

It looked Jaws had paid a visit to the pool.
