In retrospect, no he didn't. Knowing that you struggle to resist putting a comment, no matter how inane, in most of the threads he could have posted it anywhere for you to see.

However, he succintly gave words to what EVERYONE who was on this morning was thinking and in this case I didn't wince to see your name in the thread title.

I agree with this one. There's absolutely no need to indicate you are reporting in EVERY SINGLE THREAD.

Why can't he do what everyone else is doing, and just report the posts without making a song and dance about it?

There is trying to help, and stating the blindingly obvious.

He seems to be on a lickylick mission towards SR.

I notice that these were all done this morning and, despite the fact that several other users had stated that they'd reported the posts, he still went ahead and did this.

He must have been feeling left out.

My thoughts exactly. Report by all means (as I have done), but what is the point of posting *Reports original post* (or the like) on each and every thread and thus giving them visibility again?
