Doesn't anyone feel that more could be done to help those poorer countries where the citizens have nothing!

Its the MEDC countries which are too blame for the poverty in LEDC countries!

Well I think that countries like Britain are ruining trade oppotunities for LEDC countries.

Complete restructuring of the economy, and yes I suppose money is needed for that.

I could string together a well cordinated argument/reply, Cyclone, but I really couldn't be bothered right now. Later, perhaps.

Yes, because large corporatins in richer nations do so much for these poor, from giving them AIDs fighting drugs to food - they'd much rather make money off us.

Parts of that are true, others not. Please explain what is needed then?

Maybe their too poor to be helped I mean with the landscape and things against them but MEDC countries could still help them by giving the LEDC resources for free.

No, the MEDC's shouldn't be blamed for the LEDC's which are in shambles. It's just the way life is. And no amount of money can help those people. Someone may say "All the money the Queen has could cure the Third World problems". Actually, no. No amount of money coupld help those countries. They may need money, but it isn't what is keeping them down.
Oh, and for the record, the Monarchy is a waste of time.

Juices and other product companies manage to give the countries a little more money.

If we actually paid them suffeciently for their services for making products like tea, then maybe these countries would have a sustainable, deserved healthy looking Gross National Product.
