I can't believe that somewhere in the world people, very lucky people, are actually playing Gamecube Games...whether it be Rare employees or Shigsy himself someone is....and I, we, have got to wait 31 hours 20 days and 54 minutes until we even get a glimpse of one of the games...hopefully I will be able to get a good connection up and see the whole things as it unfolds but still, before I or any of us play Mario or Dinosaur Planet, Zelda or Waverace we have got a year to wait give or take...I don't even think Banjo-Tooie will keep me going that long!

yeah, thats great but i live in northern ireland and as far as i know no games companies are situated over here. So what do you think i could do.
and soon for me it will be Nintendo, who have a job open to me after the summer, hummmmm

If anyone does want to be a games tester then it is quite simple...you need to find a company near to you, so for me, as I live in the Birmingham area it would be Rare. You need to contact them and ask if they have any vacancies for 'Beta Game Testing' it is worth a shot and if you aren't enjoying college then go for it.
I don't encourage quitting college but you don't need a top-class education or all the knowledge under the sun to make money and be a success!
Companies want testers all the time, people, who have done it, move on and their places need filling. You don't actually think that the coders and graphics designers pick up the bugs, bugs are eliminated through much playing of the game and seeing where faults crop up and this is done by....GAMES TESTERS.
You need a job that suits you and if testng games is it, theyn go for it...what have you got to lose!
