I want to hear all of your funny gaming stories, whether they are hilariously funny, or just moderately amusing, i want to hear them. Have you had an unfortunate power-cut problem (snigger)? Have you accidentally dropped your PS2 down some stairs (kkknkkn)? Ever been sick in the toilet of a well known gaming industry party (you know who you are Ben). Get writing all of you, or you are all banned. Joking.

I told my mum I was considering getting a PS2 early next year. She said "Hatchback or saloon?"

Mums, eh?

I remember when I had my old PSX I had just purchased Theme Park. After spending the day devoted to it I had the most amazing park created. It must have took me at least 15 hours maybe even more but I was dead chuffed with the results. Everything was laid out perfectly, I had a constant decent income, had mostly all of the rides and a wicked rollercoaster and most importantly the punters were happy with it. I remember going down to make a cuppa tea and must have been only a few minutes but in that time the worst had already happened. My Dad for reasons still unknown had helped himself into my room, saw that my PSX was left on and decided to take control of my wonder park. He hadnt asked if he could have a go just jumped straight into it, something that had never happened before. In that few minutes I went back into my room and what did I find, rollercoaster broken down, about five rides under repair, about another five on fire, punters leaving, litter everywhere, staff on strike, my balance had dramaticly gone below zero and I had no choice but to start again. At least 15 bloody hours of gaming wiped away before I even had a chance to save it.

OK this isnt stricktly about games,...my mate Rob borrowed a porn vid from my mate Paul(the Porn King), anyway the idiot left it in the videoplayer downstairs overnight as he knew his parents never used the video and hes a only child. Unfortunately for Rob, this was around the time that Channel 5 came out, and it just so happened that the Channel 5 Tuner Guy came around to Tune in Channel 5 that very morning (In order to stop video, console, and Channel 5 signals distorting each other),...of course the Channel 5 repair man had to turn on a video to check for interference..and Robs mum got a shock about her innocent young lad!

A mate of mine bought a DVD player into which he inserted a copied porn DVD. Then he sat on the player and crushed some sort of mechanism which opened it and he had to send it back to the shop with the porn still inside. Ho-de-ho

Actually Its quite hard to score on ISS if you take the oponents joypad out...the computer players run into get the ball and its bloody hard to get it back...just goes to show you how great ISS really is. On FIFA if you took your opponents pad out you could knock in a fair few without any trouble.
Come to think of this topic its Quite sadistic really, taking pleasure in other peoples pain, still fun though!

I remember back when I had my Spectrum 48k +, we had a french student over who was more trouble than he was worth.
Whatever we told him not to do, he would do and that included playing on my computer. Unfortunately, I came home one day to see him there with a smouldering piece of black plastic that used to be, yes - you guessed it, my computer. My parents took pity on me and I went to the shop to get a Spectrum 128k instead, while the french student sat scoulded and sorry in the spare room.

It's a pity, as the other french students we had were fine, especially one girl - but that's another story!

I was playing ISS with a couple of mates. One of them had to leave the room for a minute, so whilst he was gone we tried to cheat by carrying on against his dormant team. But, we couldn't do it and we still ended up losing AND getting 3 red cards to boot. We's fools!
