Hello there, Today I was just casually using my compiter when I noticed a problem with my monitor.

It seems to be very lightly "Flickering", you can see faint lines going up and down all over the screen, it's getting quite annoying now, It only just started happening today.

Why is this? Has my monitor gone bust already? I've tried upping the refresh rate to 75hertz, but that seems to elavate the problem, and 60hz is about the same.

Tried setting the monitor to defult settings? Its a longshot but I can't think of anything else bar reinstalling the GFx Cards drivers.

The cables are in fine.

It's getting annoying now because I can feel my eyes straining really bad.

That'll not cause a problem as they're running off the lower computer power supply. Mains fans can interfere with monitors from two meters away. Can't help you I'm afraid, apart from checking that the cables are in correctly.

Well there is just my speakers, but they have been here for weeks and caused no problems, what else can you determine as "strong magnetic fields"?

I have no mobile phone near it, so i'm guessing that won't be causing it either

And I am getting a bit of a headache, which is probably a sign that the refresh rate is being wierd.

The only fans nearby are my computer ones, which is about 60cm away from the monitor.

If theres a fan running anywhere near, that causes problems too. I've had to turn mine off, as I was getting a serious headache.
