"Quick News: According to reports across the Internet, currently neither Factor 5 nor Silicon Knights have any work underway for the Nintendo Revolution as they are choosing to focus instead on the XBOX follow-up that is due out towards the end of this year."
Obviously at the moment it's a rumour that is going around, but it's an interesting one at least.
What do you think?
I don't think those people meant 'next Rare' as in 'next to jump off the ship' though! :D

The way I heard it, it was an "amicable separation" as Silicon (not Silicone :P) Knights wanted to work multi-format.

Yep, they're "out there now", according to Reggie.
Nintendo 3rd party games very rarely sell well and Nintendo were the ones who said no to Silicone Knights so I doubt they're exactly jumping up and down to help them out next generation. As for Factor 5, I wouldn't be suprised if Lucas Arts opt out of supporting Nintendo next generation so if they're still working on Star Wars games then that'll be the reason.
Weren't Revolution dev kits supposed to be handed out around the time of GDC?

Do you mean Cubed3? It's on there but I couldn't see it on Cube Europe. Cubed3 are always rubbish with reporting stuff like this which is just speculation.
To be honest, I don't see it myself. Both teams liked working with Nintendo so unless there's some big money payout from Microsoft I haven't heard of, I'd think they wouldn't desert Revolution.
Just look at Metroid Prime 2. The first one went straight to number one, yet the sequel failed to even get into the top 20. Unless Nintendo sort themselves out then I can't see Revolution being a success.
Either way, as long we get some Silicon Knights, I'm happy.
