I bring you the PC(also produced on other consoles) games that will be ones to keep an eye on in the year of 2001.
Black and White - Has been released lately and has been a hit amoung gamers. "The Ultimate God game" it has been called by many and who could argue with them. The games looks something special. Debut game of new developers Lionhead, so looks like they could be someone to look out for in the future. Surely one of the best games that will appear on the shelves this year.
C&C: Renegade - Westwood's first steps into the world of first-person shooting and it has been a long time coming. They may need to come p with something special though if they want to contend with the likes of Deus Ex etc. Due for release in 3rd Season.
Duke Nukem Forever - Not my favourite game and the game just looks a repeat of its predecessor but I am sure fans of Duke Nuken will help this one creep up the list. Dune for release in 3rd Season.
Earth and Beyond - This is a secret project by Westwood that I have managed to get a bit of info on. They are planning a massive on-line sci-fi game. SO look out for this sometime this year.
Game of Death - This one by German developes (don't know name) but it is about serial killers of the 20th century (interesting) and I don't know much about game but it may not get produced because of idea of game. Expected to be released in 4th Season
Harry Potter - I say it should not be allowed but I am sure this game by EA will bea big hit amoungst fans of the books - realeased 4th Season
Halo - This one by Microsoft, set in future with war or something, but one of the most powerful and outstanding engines around - another to look out for - 4th Season
Mafia - Set in the 1930's the game has a massive area to explore, 10km I believe with a further 40km of scenery. Thirty different typs of car for you to steal :D . The game of course is about you involved with Mafia and outcome of game depends on your action - A contender for game of the year maybe - release date 2nd Season
Monopoly Tycoon - No longer boring board game, fully 3D interactive streets to buy. A big difference to previous game and nothing like original board game - release date 2nd Season
Republic: The Revoultion - I like the title of this Eidos game. The main object is too of course revolt and take control of country and make a few allies while your at it. Fully interactive game may be delayed because of problems but one to look out for - release date 3rd Season
Sim Mars - One myself I am looking forward too. Ages I have argued there should be a game involving the red planet and at last my prayers are answered and soon Maxis and EA will bring it to me. Nasa helped on this one, set 10 years in future you need to be the first humans to colonise the planet witha few tasks etc. It has been delayed many a time and is expected to be realised near end of year - ahhh can't wait that long.
Simsville - This is a mixture of the Sims meet SimCity. You control the town and control most of the sims lifes but need to take their ideas and put them into practice. Maybe another winner here from Maxis - release 3rd Season
Warcraft 3 - Maybe one of my favourite games was Warcarft 2 and here is its sequel. It has been a while but it is now in full 3D. I saw the video for this game and it looks brilliant. Instead of Orcs and Humans it is now. Orcs, Humans, UnDead, Demons and Dark Eleves fighting it out. No mention of the Dark Portal though :D. This may be delayed but is expected in 3rd Season.

Am i the only one awaiting commandos 2? I wont have it for the pc coz mine is crappy and slow, but im looking forward to the DC version(if it comes out).
