Well, It has come to the day I have to do my spanish coursework. I have blapped my first one out the way with no problemo - 400 words on Penélope Cruz!
BUT! The hard part is I have to do 900 words on bullfighting now. Probably factual with information about the sport and history with the personal opinion.
Now this is hard enough to do in my own language let alone a foreign one!
So if yoiu guys could just round up a few off yoru head informations or opinions about it that i might be able to use or include in my work after i translate it that would be great!
Or if you speak spanish tu ayuda por favor!

Bullfighting. A Cruel "sport" made crueler by the addition of vaseline into the eyes of the bulls so they can't see poperly, the bull beaten with clubs, and its ears and nostrils stuffed with cloth and possibly drugged.

More relevant, a Spanish gameshow on at the moment (TVE - but not the International version) which has contestants from around Spain dressing in big foam costumes and doing 'it's the knockout' style events, has one section which involves going to the centre of a small bull-ring and grabbing certain object (again, while dressed in a big foam costume) while a young bull runs around after them.
I'd love to see that in the UK, but it would never get passed the TV people.

I don't know any spanish except maybe, "Me Ki Ko!" being the pronounciation of Mexico if you don't know Spanish and want to sound like a turnip :D
However, I do have opinions on bullfighting.
Personally, I don't see the point in it. See if you can dodge a bull if it runs at the red cloth you're holding?

However it is funny when 'mistakes' happen and people don't dodge in time.
They mess with nature, it messes with them.
If you make an animal angry, you're going to face the consequences....
Maybe they should introduce Steve Irwin to the Bullfights to see how he's cope.
