I'll soon be buying a car which will be my first as I am only 17.
Anyway I am looking for insurance for the following cars:
Mazda Mx-3
Seat ibiza 5 door
I expecting the first one to be quite expensive :-(

The thing is most of the sites need your name, phone ect ect and takes forever and as my brother found out after entering it all into 9 sites ;-O
he know gets a lot of junk mail(loads even)and phones calls about insurance(no suprise)so I was wondering does anyone here either have one of those cars or is 17 and have a sports car?

Any help on how much it may be to insure would be very helpful :-)

One more thing the Seat one has an insurance group of 2-11 and the Mazda one of 12-15 but I don't quite understand what that means(I know nothing about cars you see)

Cheers :-)

Let me stop you right there. Are you a girl? Are you a hairdresser, or gay maybe?
If you're looking at a Mazda go for one of the new range. The Mazda 3 is very reasonable, insurance group 3 for the 1.4, group 5 for the 1.6 and group 8 for the 2.0!

Seat, nice little car groups 3-11.

Best site for insurance. Takes 2 minutes to fill out and it checks all the dealers for you.

It is a girly car, not too sporty really.

Do you need to pay for your insurance and car with the £1,500?

For £1,500 you're not going to be able to get a good Ibiza. The old ones were pretty pap.

If you've got £1,500 to spend I would go for something a little less status symbol and more low-key but with performance.

I have no complaints about my 1.8 Cavi I'm getting rid of, performance wise. It is not quick because it weighs about 70 tons, but it can do 30mph is 1st gear, 60 in second and of course I wouldn't know much after that because I can't go above 70mph...obviously.
