I'll soon be buying a car which will be my first as I am only 17.
Anyway I am looking for insurance for the following cars:
Mazda Mx-3
Seat ibiza 5 door
I expecting the first one to be quite expensive :-(

The thing is most of the sites need your name, phone ect ect and takes forever and as my brother found out after entering it all into 9 sites ;-O
he know gets a lot of junk mail(loads even)and phones calls about insurance(no suprise)so I was wondering does anyone here either have one of those cars or is 17 and have a sports car?

Any help on how much it may be to insure would be very helpful :-)

One more thing the Seat one has an insurance group of 2-11 and the Mazda one of 12-15 but I don't quite understand what that means(I know nothing about cars you see)

Cheers :-)

The Polo is now at the top of my list after seeing one which has everything and low milage and what should be low insurance,if you don't mind me asking if you are under 22 how much do you pay insurance(roughly)?

Cheers.

Yeah I know now that a sports car will be just a tad expensive :-(

I have a few more on me list:

Hyundia Accent only £1400
Also a Polo which is about £1500
and a Fiat scenciento sporting £2000

If any of those are girls cars please tell me!!!

For the amount your willng to spend (plus the fact your 17) you wont be able to get a sports car.

Just get a cheap secondhand car thats reliable, thats all you need for a first car.

Ive got a VW Polo 1.0, the insurance is fairly cheap. You should be able to pick one up between £1500-1800. There reliable and built like a tank. (ive crashed it twice now and its still really good). Dont be put off by the small engine size either. Its got good acceleration and can outdo most of my mates cars which all have bigger engines. (Apparently Polos have close ratio gear boxes or something, i dont understand all that its just what ive been told)

Dont waste your money on someting expensive seen as your inexperienced.

as far as i know you have to be 25 to get sports car insurance.

please note: fiestas and novas with plastic kits and rice-boy exhausts are NOT sports cars.

In my opinion.
