has anyone ever read a very nice novel with a CIA theme?.....if you have please tell me the title so i can hunt for it at my local library.....during the weekend i watched the TV action series 24 about the CIA and CTU and FBI,so am looking for a novel with a theme close to that.....so i will catch you guys later BYE!

Look up Tom Clancy mate or else Frederick Forsyth (author of "Day of the Jackal). They both have books about espionage during and after the Cold War and I am near positive one of them will have the CIA in it. Just browse the blurbs on the back and find one you like.
Try "American Tabloid" and its sequel "The Cold Six Thousand" by James Elroy.
Both are difficult reads, the prose in TCST being almost annoying at times, but both are great.
Howard Hughes, The CIA, FBI, John F Kennedy assasination plots, Hoover, the mob. It's not fully CIA, but if you enjoyed "24" with its plot twists these will be right up your street.
Hint. Keep a piece of paper for TCST, as the codenames for the characters can get very confusing.
