My favourite actor is Johnny Depp 'cos he just cracks me up in Pirates of the Carribean.He definitly stole the show.He was the one who made it such a great film.Without Johnny Depp in it,the film would never have been so successful.

I think my fav actor has got to be Morgan Freeman for his excellent performances in such films as Shawshank Redemption, Chain Reaction, The Sum of all Fears, etc, etc.

It may not exactly be to your tastes, but I think Johnny Depps finest performance was in 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', in which he plays a very similar, extravagant character.
I'll warn you though, it's about hippies using ludicrous amounts of drugs. It's one of my favourite films ever.
