'Easter is the day Jeses was ressurected'....... right?
So why does the date change every year?

Who cares, let's not be pedantic. :)

Yeh, winter solstace. However you spell that.

It resembles the eggs in the womb of some pagan goddess.

The only time the words "jesus christ" were uttered or even thought of by myself, was when I was camping on friday, and slurred: -
"jesus christ, I'm soooo drunk"

Because Jesus died on Passover. He is our sacrifice, the Passover lamb.

He just had enough and floated away.
They call it the Ascention, because he Ascended into heaven. :-)
Infact, I don't think any of the celebrations have actual dates to them. Christmas was tagged onto the pagan holiday of the shortest day passing and the days getting longer again, so everyone could celebrate together.
Also, I think it's tied to the Jewish feast of the passover.
The Jews should still celebrate that, after all it's classic Jewish, before any of this Christian nonsense started.
A nice simple Bible with the classic "do this or burn" and "eye for an eye" without all the love and forgiveness malarky! ;-)
