I have been looking at FarCry's specs and the minimum is 256 and I have 256 so there you go. Also will the Graphics Card that came with my computer be able to handle the graphics? It says it needs 128mb graphics so does that normally come with a computer? It is farily new I think its called a Imeadia 5004 or something.
In answer to the does RAM go down, no, never. RAM loses its contents when the power is off.
It's just like when games on consoles load, they load to the RAM so that the data the game runs on can be loaded quicker.
The RAM isn't the same kind of memory as hard disk drive though. RAM is very temporary, whereas HDD is designed for storage.
If I've got that wrong, I apologise in advance. :D
BWUAHAHAHHA! NARF!
