The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
For a list of games, which is my rough guide for going through these games, Click Here
I'm not going to go through the list in order or play all the games on that list as I don't have some of them. I'm going to shake it up a bit so I don't play through endless sequals. Most of the games, I'll play through for about 10 minutes. There will be a few exceptions and I'll leave my favourite games towards the end as something to look forward to.
I'll try to post a mini review of the game after I post the video.
The first video will be Zool, just so you know, and I'll update this with the first batch of 50 videos and reviews.
However, the project is not dead. I will still be doing the videos but with a longer time scale in mind and will probably become a segment on the podcast I'm trying to start. I think it makes more sense this way and then I don't have to worry about things getting out of control and hard drive space becomes less of an issue. :D
The goal is obviously to generate traffic for the forums ultimately and I hope the forums will back this and the podcast too.
Going to the Eurogamer Expo on Friday so I might do a microphone test to see how that goes and I may even post the results of that test. :)
It is going to be a project that will last over a long period so I suppose I need to be smart about this.
I did work out that if I do 5 videos a day, I'll be done in around 4 months. :S
Working out how to play some of these Japanese games is a challenge. :)
Interested in this so keep us posted.
As for videos, I finished recording the gameplay of game 1 - Zool. It's come out around 12 minutes so it'll probably be a 2 parter as Youtube restrict video length. It'll give me a chance to introduce the project as I don't have to worry about being under 10 minutes now.
And stay in touch with the "Mystery member" :P
