My goal is to play all the Megadrive games I have available to me.

For a list of games, which is my rough guide for going through these games, Click Here

I'm not going to go through the list in order or play all the games on that list as I don't have some of them. I'm going to shake it up a bit so I don't play through endless sequals. Most of the games, I'll play through for about 10 minutes. There will be a few exceptions and I'll leave my favourite games towards the end as something to look forward to.

I'll try to post a mini review of the game after I post the video.

The first video will be Zool, just so you know, and I'll update this with the first batch of 50 videos and reviews.

It has become increasingly clear that, although I could probably do all the videos by the 30th November 2010, I doubt my health would be very good and the quality I'm hoping to achieve would dip.

However, the project is not dead. I will still be doing the videos but with a longer time scale in mind and will probably become a segment on the podcast I'm trying to start. I think it makes more sense this way and then I don't have to worry about things getting out of control and hard drive space becomes less of an issue. :D

The goal is obviously to generate traffic for the forums ultimately and I hope the forums will back this and the podcast too.

Okay, the mic test didn't go well so there will be more private tests ready for the 30th. Just in the process of getting through more games now.

Update: The project will begin on November 30th and hopefully there will be a video or 2 each day until November 30 2010.

Going to the Eurogamer Expo on Friday so I might do a microphone test to see how that goes and I may even post the results of that test. :)

A quick update: Had a few sniffles so work has slowed a little but I'm well into double figures on the video front. I'm debating whether to start putting videos up on Nov 30 because then it would be a year until the 20th anniversary. It's that or until I've got a bunch of videos I'm happy with.

It is going to be a project that will last over a long period so I suppose I need to be smart about this.

I did work out that if I do 5 videos a day, I'll be done in around 4 months. :S

Yeah, I've been ill for varying lengths of time the last 3 winters so it is inevitable. :(

Working out how to play some of these Japanese games is a challenge. :)

A quick update. Got 5 games done and I'm just playing through some Japanese games to get an idea on how they play. My target is still to start getting videos up this month but I'm not in too much of a hurry at this point. I want around 75 videos stored up as that would give me a couple of months leeway if I get struck with illness this winter.

My Youtube profile page could use a bit of work. :D Seriously though, my profile page is bare bones at the moment and will probably need spicing up when I start posting videos and it is not my strongest area.

As for videos, I finished recording the gameplay of game 1 - Zool. It's come out around 12 minutes so it'll probably be a 2 parter as Youtube restrict video length. It'll give me a chance to introduce the project as I don't have to worry about being under 10 minutes now.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
