Basically theres like a horrible cracky sort of noise on my headphones and on my speakers.
It happens randomly and Im wondering why..
This is my setup.
PC>Stereo>Speakers/Headphones (HD497 Sennheisers)
The soundcard is connected to the stereo from a 3.5mm jack to a red/white lead.
Any ideas?
I've overclocked my pc by raising the fsb, maybe its affecting my soundcard now?
Happens on mp3's.
New version of winamp I have, 5.03? Something like that.
Sorry for like the one word *nearly) sentances.
Cheers

Mobo is some sort of generic rubbish, sound card is Trust 5.1 514DX, has all sorts of digital outs, in's, coxials and all sorts. T'is the biz.
Nah I havn't tried that, thats the next thing to try. I dont think its soundcard related but this method will find out eh.
Ok cookie well it only started happening recently (month ish) and i've had the headphones for about 4months. Guarenteed for 2 years anyway.
Yeah it was running at 37.3. Hm, quite a bit out.
