"The Chain" plays out in the arena and out comes the SRW World Champion, Grandprix! Eclipse is kicking off with his words tonight! Perhaps this has something to do with the main event tonight as we have no idea what that is going to be.
Grandprix has a mic in his hand.
"I thought I had better come out here and address the beatdown I got last week from Evolution. To be honest, I don't know what I was thinking. It was probably a combination of having my head bashed in and Triple H saying my name that brought me out to what was a obvious setup. I pride myself on being able to read those situations but I guess we all make mistakes. It's now time to deal with this issue. Triple H, I'm calling you out!"
*The crowd cheer*
It looks like the crowd might get some early wrestling action tonight!
"Time to Play the Game!" Out comes Triple H! He starts walking down the ramp and for once he's on his own. He gestures that he wants the title!
"Benoit's music" plays and out steps Benoit! What is going on?
Triple H turns round and has a concerned look on his face. He's in the middle of something here!
Benoit has a mic in his hand.
"Hold it right there, Triple H! You blow back into SRW and declare yourself as Championship material. Well, I'm going to prove to you that shouldn't be anywhere near the top of the ladder. Triple H, you've only had the Euro-Continental title for about 3 seconds. I'm a 3 time SRW Champion and I had to go through an entire faction to get that title. Sure, I lost it to the better wrestler on the night but that doesn't mean that I won't get it back at some point, because I'm Chris Benoit, the best damn technical wrestler in the industry!"
The fans agree! Grandprix looks a little confused with what's going on.
"So, why am I out here? I'm out here to prove that your claim to the Championship is a joke. You want the title? You've got to come through me to get it!"
Benoit has issued the challenge to Triple H! Grandprix can keep silent no longer.
"Whoa, Benoit! I want to get my hands on Triple H tonight as well. Let's compromise. How about this - Triple H (The crowd boos) teams up with another wannabe Champion, Stone Edge (The crowd boos) and they'll be against Chris Benoit (The crowd cheers) and the SRW World Champion Grandprix!
The crowd are going nuts! It's going to be a tag team match involving Grandprix and Benoit against Stone Edge and Triple H! Triple H is fuming as he won't be teaming with his faction tonight and his title ambitions could be in tatters if he loses tonight!
Benoit stands at the top of the ramp and Grandprix walks slowly past Triple H with a smile on his face! Grandprix and Benoit stand on the ramp and salute the fans as they head to the back.
