True, at least not so many innocent women and children are being killed. Before just anyone was killed. People are dying but not like they use to.

But he spent months trying to get the UN to act on resolution 1441, the one justifing the war.
And what was he supposed to do? The intel in front of him, and the intel in the US, and France, and Germany, and any other country, all said Iraq had WMD. He couldn't sit there and say, 'i'm sure its wrong, even though it comes from 99% of the worlds inteligence sources'.

Interesting timing for the question - 'is Iraq better off under America's control' - on the very day the coalition admit they *don't* control many parts of Iraq (and have even withdrawn their troops).
