Celtic has announced that Chris Sutton and Alan Thompson have signed new two year contract extensions. Chris joined Celtic in July 2000 from Chelsea and Alan in September 2000 from Aston Villa. Both players have been central to Celtic's success since joining the Club and the two year extensions which have been agreed means both players are contracted to Celtic until June 2007. Great News for Celtic fans since Henrik Larsson will be leaving this season.

What do you take me for? I know a lot of Celtic fans are micks, due to the flags and all that- it's just that they're a club based in Glasgow, meaning that they are technically a Scottish team. Plus, all the Irish support them because they are a Catholic club, not just due to the name.

And the majority of people are Scottish but use it as a simple of their club. Like Rangers fans and the Union Jack or England flags.
