Just thought I would pop in and post a note that Google have added an official blog post about how they do not use the <meta name="keywords"> HTML element when considering the placement of a web page within their search results pages (also blogged about by Matt Cutts).

Common knowledge for some perhaps, but still, if you didn't know before, taa daa!!!
