Put cash card in machine, machine says cash card is out of date. Look at card, card is indeed out of date. No new card has arrived at home. Phone up bank, give all details of my account and everything, who I am and such, and it turns out that the numpty that set it up in the first place couldn't copy my date of birth from my passport correctly, has made a mistake, and now I have no cash card until I can go to a bank with ID to prove who I am.

Yeh, a few months ago the bank machine decided to eat my card and not give it back. I asked the bank why and apparently it had expired, and that they had already sent a new one. I had to wait a week until I got a new one. They could at least make sure you have a new one before they take your old one. Stupid People!!!

Yup; Switch, Solo. It's just that our banks have decided to change to Visa Electron as of April this year.
There are non-Electron Visa debit cards.

I bank with the HSBC. (homo sexual banking corporation) and infairness to them they are usually quite good and friendly so i can'treally have a moan.
