Sorry to add to the slew of topics about this already, but I have to say that was brilliant. I'm not a Chelsea fan, but I'm so glad to see them come off with a win like like this. Quite ironic how before the first leg, Arsenal's previous two wins against Chelsea started with them scoring and then Arsenal pulling back two. I just hope this might quash the rumours going round about new management as it has to be said, Ranieri deserved a win like this.
Looks like my predictions I made about a month or so ago may become a reality after all... Arsenal win the League, Man U win the FA Cup and Chelsea get the Champions League. It's a long way to go, but I just feel that Chelsea have enough momentum to go on and get it.
Hang on... I never go in the sport forum.
I'll be off, then.
If rainieri quit, cappello would be the ONLY manager in the world i would want
No matter how much money Abramovich may be willing to offer, everyone will have seen the way the poor, old, innocent "Thunderbirds puppet" has been treated by (apparently) the richest man living in the UK. Would Fabio Capello or Otmar Hitzfeld really want to risk being treated in such a way, do results not go their way, after all the money that's been invested?
As for Sven-Goran Eriksson, it's all gone public, now. He may've been willing to leave us in the shish he has created before-hand, but now, things are different, and, doing it for the second time is only gonna seriously hit his dearly self-valued reputation.
