Has this been delayed? Many sites are saying that it is still being released on the 1st of April?

I hope Lock Down is smoother. If you remember, Black Arrow and Rainbow Six 3 only let you move in 8 Directoins with the Left Analogue Stick. Up, Down, Left, Right and the diagonals inbetween.. HALO, on the other hand, lets you move in about 180 directions becaue even if you're walking forward and you move the Left Analogue Stick to the left EVER-SO-SLIGHTLY, Chief will still edge a little to the left.

With a tectical SWAT-type game, you need fluid movement. Are you listening, Red Storm?

Haha, yeah... Any time an adversary 'sees' an injured played, it should play a cut-scene where he's taping his hand, and struggles to do so... then the other guy helps him do it. Then more people stumble across them. In the end these two warring task-force teams end up standing around chatting while he's getting fixed up. Then they all decide not to fight and have a pint.

Hobbling about throwing grenades/fireing one-handed would be quite fun! There should be a mini-animation where the guy tapes over the hole in his hand with duct-tape or something. :D

It'd be very hard to idicate why you've lost shotting in your hand, too. Or why you're suddeny exceedingly slow. Yeah, everyone else may know that it's because you've gone a tonne of lead in your legs, but for someone who just wants to go out and kill, it's hardly intuitive.

Keep it as it is, man. However annoying it maybe to get owned by a shot to teh foot, keep it as it is.

The same way they combat getting shot in the head - by using cover and not getting hit.

Maybe, but it'd be interesting. Half the people on Live are camping gimps anyway.

Wouldn't work in practice, though. How the hell is someone supposed to combat against being shot in the hands? And wouldn't be losing your ability to shoot be as bad as losing (as the only outcome would be camping etc.) Yeah, it may be innaccurate, but it's the only way to do it and keep the game brilliance.

I actually hope the G3A3 gets axed. It was a cheat weapon almost as bad as the ridiculous .50 cal. You could shoot someone twice in the foot and they'd die.

Perhaps that's something they need to concentrate on more - realistic wounding effects. Whoever heard of someone dying from a shot to the hand? Perhaps some sort of system where by if you are shot in the arm you cannot fire your weapon accurately (or at all - having to resort to a one handed weapon instead), if you are shot in the leg you cannot run anymore. Something like that.
