Mmmmmmmmm cookies. No seriously though, has anyone used CGI to setand retrieve cookies on Freeola, and if so could they post some example code on how to do it. I tried using some example script off the net, but it didn't work, and I'm a bit worried it may not work, as when I run a script which loops through all the available environment variables, and prints their value, it doesn't show anything about the HTTP_COOKIE variable, not even that it equals nothing. Anyone know anything on the subject?

Cheers,
Rikki

I'm not brilliant with cookies, and I don't know CGI, but I may be able to help if you try PHP. PHP is a lot easier to use than CGI anyway. A problem that a lot of people come across with cookies in PHP is that when you are deleting a previous cookie, you must set the new one first. So in the code, the new cookie should be created before the old one is deleted, as if the code is read backwards!
