But give a man the means to find all the dark souls, and he will complete the boss, and get the mystery item, for a whole lifetime.
The point being this,
How do you get the lat 2 dark souls on the wastelands level?
There's one on a platform above a lake that you get to up the blood waterfall, which it looks like you can reach on a platform that should be able to move, and another with no clues to it's whereabouts.
Please help.

Hmm. There are 121 souls in total aren't there? I completed shadowman in a five-day rental....Wasteland is the one with 13 souls to collect out of twelve isn't it? Ther hardest-to-get ones are at the lava stuff..that little temple place near the teleporter.

Nearly there...
Face the platform that you think should be moving, but turn right and press the wall, the platform will now start to move. Jump on it and grab the first dark soul. This platform you are now on will continue up the Blood Waterfall.
At the top jump off, you now have two choices. You can morph into the Scythebeast to take on the Realies that await you, (you get more mana this way), and then battle your way through the ravine towards the 2nd dark soul that awaits you there. But you have to grab the Book of Granted Spells on your way past the shelf in the ravine wall.
The second choice is to just morph into the Batbeast and fly to the shelf, grab the Book of Granted Spells, then fly on over to the 2nd dark soul.
This is the tricky bit. There is only one spell that can release the spell, and you have to try two or three before you get it right, but the book holds the clue, so you need lots of mana just in case.
Once you get the right spell, the soul is free, catch it, and the boss and the infinite item is all yours.
