Yesterday we have an advert for The Cat in the Hat, a film with a lowly 2.9 score on the Internet Movie Database and scathing reviews everywhere you turn. But what quote is on the advert in the paper? Yes, it's Paul Ross!!!11 "A real treat for the whole family *****"
That's 5 stars for one of the worst films of the year.
And, if that wasn't bad enough, how does he follow this up? Today I see an advert for Scooby-Doo 2, and again another Paul Ross recommendation, "You'd be barking mad to miss this".
It must be common practice for studios who know they have crap films and need good review scores and comments to phone Mr. Paul Ross. He must have a special Hollywood studio hotline like the Bat-Phone and a nice healthy line in back-handers.
"It's not looking good chief, we're going to have to call Ross."
"*sigh* I hate this business sometimes."
"So do I chief, so do I..."
---
Mrs Ross: "If I only see one son this year, make it Jonathan Ross."
(funniest thing ever)
