Interesting, and well written. of particular note is the statement "We've answered the question about who gets into heaven many times because it's the one we get most often. Our take is that all good people go to heaven, either because they're good (Marc's version) or because they're good and, even though they don't know it, they have been saved by the atoning death and resurrection of Christ (Tom's version). The notion of a God who'd keep Gandhi out of heaven is just too grotesque for us to contemplate. "
> Yes and I share God's.
I don't ram mine other people throats. (wa-HEYYYYYYYY! nudge-nudge)

you have your (obvious, judging from these threads) beliefs. I have mine.

Lermme guess, If I say "yes" you are going to quote that passage thats along the lines of "the athiest does no good".
I've already told you I'm agnostic. "One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God."
I believe there is an underlying structure or force existant in the universe, something we cannot comprehend (yet? Ever? who knows). Its not a guy with a beard sitting on a throne, and it certainly doesn't give a damn about a small planet in the western spiral arm of the milky way.
Could that not be whan we in our limited comprehension call "god"?
Why do you always have to be 'up against' something? (oo-er)
Then you go to your Little Book of Arguments, flick to the athiest section, and start mouthing off about things no-one cares about.
Usually, most people have more than 1 aspect to their personality.
It's called being a human - a somewhat complex thing you can't earmark as 'againt me = bad'
