Ok, so the BBC had made an effort and attempted to air a show which is about winning money! Hooray I thought - something to steal back the ratings from ITV's Who wants to be a millionaire?, and although it isn't as popular, it certainly seems just as annoying!

But oh no, oh dear - guess who they got to present it - and in my view ruin it - ANNE ROBINSON! Anne Robinson has to be respected for her watchdog style approach to the show - she's so insulting, without being insulting that it's funny!

Basically the show is about general knowledge where 8 contestants get a chance of winning some money - they always do poorly and no one ever wins more than £4000 out of a possible £10000. The thing which makes me mad is that at the end of each timed round the players must vote off a player who is in their opinion 'the weakest link' surely, it should be who actually IS the weakest link?! But no. This is where the conspiracy happens, and people will vote off tactically to try and keep themselves in the game - you can tell that there must be someone there watching the hand movement of another contestant before they copy it and hope for the best! (no? Ok then, maybe that's just me).

And when someone gets voted off they get the blunt goodbye from Anne Robinson - who basically could be replaced by a robot, although she is very mechanical - well trained. She hardly shows any emotion throughout the whole program - the BBC would have done better to employ a robot instead of her!

Then at the end game, when only two players get the chance to go head to head in a five question shootout only one can win! The other player 'Goes away, with NOTHING' and you get the familiar Goodbye from Anne - there's no 'well played' or 'unlucky' here, oh no - she is very cold in this manner.
And finally, at the end of the show we get a 'sideways nod' from Mrs Robinson accompanied by that 'GOODBYE' and a sinister smilem which has now become a more friendly half laugh! She's quite funny really!

The show has definitely had some popularity, as everyone seems to be saying 'you are the weakest link, goodbye!' every five minutes!

Excellent
