i want to put my PS2 online so i can download stuff and play people on the net and some one told me that all i had to do was buy an official network adapter and screw it in the back of my PS2 but i wasn't so sure because it all sounds so simple, can anybody help ? ? ? ? ?

I'm getting broadband on friday and i'm looking forward to getting the PS2 online.
Not heard anything good about it though.

All you really need it a network adapter and some online games.

You can't really download much though, not quite as advanced a set up as the XBox live service but some of the games play quite well online.


You connect the network adapter to your PC, then plug your internet connection into the network adapter and use the disk that comes with the network adapter to set it up. Simple to do.

Extra costs come if you want to set up a network in your house so you can use yours computers and PS2 online at the same time.
