I have found a great solution for the 'expensive' s-video problem.
I was in sweden last week, and there you can get a playstation s-video cable (not the official) one for only £9.99 (and IT IS GOLD PLATED !!).
Also, I got an S-video to Euro Av-Connector for £5 (so now I don't need to have s-video leads hanging our of the front of my telly, they can be used via the scart ports at the back)
The improvement in clarity of graphics is really noticeable.....

Or you could order a PS2 S-VHS (S-Video) cable from Spectravideo (Logic 3) for £4.99 ... :-)
