After watching the Star Wars movies over the past month on Sky TV, I have absolutely no doubts that they are the BEST movies of all time!! Nothing I can think of even comes close in terms of pure entertainment.
It doesnt matter how many times I see them, there always seems to be something new each time. How many films can boast such a variety of characters - Is there any other saga that can produce action figures despite having appeared in the film for only a short, brief scene. Everything about Star Wars I love - The plot, characters, vehicles, planets, locations, everything!!

I have many theories about what happens between Episodes II and III, but something I worked out could yet bring a surprise to the ending of Return of the Jedi:

Anakin's mother was quick to deny that there was no father - If we forget about the midicloriants for a minute, she even seemed rather distressed when asked about it by Qui Gon. Senator Palpatine, we all know will eventually become the evil Emporer in episodes V and VI. The mysterious Darth Sidious in Episode I, played by the same actor obviously has to be Palpatine. Whether he is already the emporer remains to be seen, lets just asume he is a decoy. Anyway, as he is one of the most powerfull beings in the galaxy he would have no trouble in getting what he wants. Maybe just maybe he seduced Anakin's mother, therefore becoming Anakin's father. At the ending in Episode I he was a little more than suspect, by saying to Anakin, "We will watch your career with great interest" - almost as if he knows what will happen. Then by becoming the new Chancellor he gets the exact role he wants, being in complete control.
So if Palpatine ends up being the father of Anakin Skywalker then that will complicate things in Return of the Jedi: Luke facing and destroying his father Vadar, who ends up facing and destroying his father, the evil Emporer Palpatine!!
Anyone else have any theories about this or anything else Star Wars??

Luke travels to a distant planet to find that there are a lot of people who have dedicated their lives to the Jedi force and are practicing it as a religion. Their symbol is a light saber with an illuminated band of light near the top.

Problem is, there are break off sects that go around knocking on people's doors and professing that they never thought that Obi Wan existed and are still waiting for him.

The words 'In a Galaxy far, far away' are definitely interesting, because this hints at the possibility that the Galaxy in which Star Wars is set actually co-exists with ours. Therefore, all that was happening in Episide IV was actually happening at the same time Starsky and Hutch were a big time television show.

And whilst we were celebrating the Queen's Silver Jubilee, Princess Leia was sending out distress signals, and Han Solo was piloting the Millennium Falcon.

It also means that Star Trek wasn't around for a long time after Episode III, so there is no real chance of Captain Kirk meeting Chewbacca unless time travel becomes a possibility, and the Rebal Alliance could never get the Klingon Federation to back them up against the Empire.
